1950's style bathroom is not "boomer" friendly. Small round toilet, no grab bars in tub/shower, long wait for hot water. Location ideal for visiting our old neighborhood, Arden Park, so it met our primary requirement.

I wasn't going to write a review but ... so newly remodeled is a lie, just the kitchen looks done. Shower head was put in 1950 and never replaced , very uncomfortable shower . Very old place, smells of mold and heavy chemicals. Instantly I got a reaction to mold as soon as I walked in but I wasn't going to say anything negative until... I had to cancel because I started to get sick from mold (I'm sensitive to it) and they gave me a hard time! Airbnb customer service was even surprised at how uncooperative they were. I told them I would be happy to pay for 1 night (I left within 1 hour after getting there) and they ended up charging me 300$!!! Disappointing experience to say the least. I don't recommend this place ! They also take forever to reply if you're even happy enough to get one

Great stay!

This remodeled home is in such a beautiful neighborhood! It was very quiet and peaceful out here and perfect for my stay during the Aftershock festival. The home was pretty clean upon entry and the beds were very comfy. The only challenges were that sometimes lights would turn on and sometimes they would not, I think the sockets had a loose connection. In addition, the bedroom doors would stick when closed and the trick is to pull the door down when opening to avoid cracking the door. I did notice that the Keurig machine would not turn on, even after trying different outlets in the kitchen but I believe the hosts will be getting that fixed. Ryker was very quick to respond and the instructions given were very clear and easy to follow. Overall, the stay was very nice. The backyard is very spacious with a big tree and it was fun to see a squirrel every morning hanging around the tree. Thanks Ryker for letting my group and I stay here during our festival attendance!

Ryker's place was great, as advertised. It's a quiet neighborhood in central Sacramento. We enjoyed a weekend near other family to celebrate a graduation. Ryker was super proactive with check-in instructions and check-out instruction. Big backyard was great for the dog and our niece to run around in. We also used the grill and laundry which were pluses for us. AC in each room, along with fans, is key in Sacramento during the summer and everything worked well.

Beautiful home with all the amenities in a lovely neighborhood. I hope to stay here on my. next visit to Sacramento!

Ryker's place was conveniently located just down the street from our family and we were able to come and go with our dogs seamlessly. The backyard is perfect for kids and pets to play in and the inside of the house is small but spacious and well arranged for indoor/outdoor living. The beds are really cozy and the blackout curtains allowed us to sleep in a little - a rare treat! We had a little trouble getting in the front door at first, the code didn't match, but we messaged and wihin a few moments the code had been reset and we were in. Great weekend getaway and we hooe yo be back soon!

Decent house in a nice area.

This is the second time I have stayed at this place. I asked them before I started to look when I knew I was going back to Sacramento. The dates I had it didn't show available, but Ryker responded and said it was open with one less day than I had requested and that was fine with me. He was very helpful. I will be staying there again when I go back to Sacramento and the place is available.

This was a nice property and perfect place for a quiet couple of days. The host was great, helpful and communicative. Will definitely be back in the future.

This was my second stay at Rykers place and it was once again perfect! Just so grateful to have found a clean, nice place to stay when I visit my daughter and new grand-daughter around the corner from them!! The best all around! 🙏🏻

The place was wonderful. Exactly what we needed as a comfortable and peaceful place to get away.

The house was set up nicely and it was nice to have a large back yard for our dog. The neighborhood is very quiet and the stay was peaceful. I did however notice a strong smell of wet dog as soon as I entered the home and it didn't go away during our stay. The house could use a little TLC but it had everything we needed.

My daughter and I stayed here to be close to family and it was perfect all around!!! We look forward to our next visit! They were great about communication and the home was clean, beds comfortable and we are so happy to have found a stay close to my daughter and her new babygirl. Definitely exceeded my expectations all around!! Thank you Ryker for everything! 🙏🏻

Positive: Fantastic neighborhood!!

Well situated place in a great Sacramento neighborhood. We stayed with our two little boys and dog. It was snug but workable, especially with the large back yard. It smelled a little like smoke when we got in but that dissipated pretty quickly. My only suggestion would be to replace the dishwasher.

We actually came to Sacramento to visit our kids and grandkids so we spent very little time at this house except for sleeping . We did drink coffee here every day and made an occasional snack but noticed there were plenty of pots/pans /coffee maker /blender -all the necessary things. Also a washer dryer was available to us . Location was wonderful although nothing was really in walking distance you were a short drive from many stores /groceries /restaurants. The place was clean and had everything we would need . Our plan is to use this house on all our visits to Sacramento !

Definitely would book this place again. Loved the neighborhood, quiet and private. Home was exactly as described. Bedrooms were spacious. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows to choose from. Bathroom was clean and had all the basic amenities needed. This home checked off all our boxes for our 2 night stay. Thank you for a great Airbnb experience.

Rykers place was exactly as described. The neighborhood was beautiful and the remodel of the house was very nice. Our dog enjoyed the nice backyard when it wasn't too hot or I should say She enjoyed it late evenings when we were there it was in the high 90's yuck. Thank God for air conditioning, and those worked perfectly. We enjoyed ourselves in this home even if we were only watching a movie on TV. very comfortable house.

Great place

When looking for a Airbnb in the Sacramento area, when I see one of Rykers homes available, I know what to expect. Always clean, nice furnishings and beautiful home. Ryker is a super host through and through. The homes are always vey clean and nice. No issues with this beautiful home. Very rare to have any in his rental. Anytime I have stayed, if there was a problem or I needed something Ryker pulls it through like the professional he is. Thank you Ryker for always being upfront and honest.

A few small hiccups but Ryker was quickly responsive and easy to work with! Home was as described and worked well for our family of four. Neighborhood was homey, felt safe and family oriented. We will definitely consider staying again as we visit the area often.

If you have family in the area, this is the perfect place to stay. Very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Lots of out strolling and walking their dogs. The backyard is quite spacious. My kids enjoyed playing in it. Grocery stores, restaurants and public parks are a short driving distance and easily accessible.

Perfect stay for my family of 4. The home is nice, clean, and very spacious for the size. Backyard is huge with plenty of space for my kids to burn off energy. Kitchen was well-stocked with good quality necessities (not as common as you’d think). Location wise - the area is nice and quiet, which was a pleasant surprise! 100% recommend!

It was a nice stay and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and responsive as well. The kitchen was very beautiful and everything looked like the pictures. Overall, would recommend.

House was the perfect size for my husband and I and a visit from my grandson. He loved the large back yard. My only complaint is the cleaning crew didn’t do their job. Dusty furniture and window sills. bathroom floor definitely needed attention and a couple of pots with grease residue. Not horrible but noticeable. I had to buy dish soap and cleanser for the beautiful stainless steel pans. No all purpose cleaner, scissors, paper or pens. Ryker addressed all of my concerns right away. Even bought a toaster. Downside, house is super drafty in bedrooms due to the type of heating system. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The communication is absolutely amazing with how fast it was, ended up, staying a few extra days and planned because I enjoyed it and it was really easy to rebook. The areas very safe. I did see if he reviews on how cold it was, but they provide an extra heater that warmed the room up perfectly.

The house was in a great neighborhood that felt safe. The house was stylish and clean with a great kitchen and living area. The beds were comfortable. The only recommendation would be to take out the cooling system in the window in the bedroom as it creates a draft that made it cold. Would recommend the house to friends and family.

This is such a nice and cozy home. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. There is easy access to stores and not too far from the freeway. The host was also very accommodating and can be easily contacted.

I’ve traveled to many airbnbs and I am sad to leave my first negative review. This place was listed without being anywhere near ready for any person or family to live in. When I arrived, there was huge piles of trash right in front of the entrance. There isn’t no AC or HEATER. On the days it was hot, the host told me to that he does in fact have an AC. I went to go and find 2 tiny bootleg AC units installed in the windows. The units were so small and they were installed incorrectly. There were large cracks which leads to my next issue: INSECTS! Those 2 units had an open entry for bugs to enter and the host didn’t care. On the cold days, it’s like 40 and below in there. On top of that, the shower barely has any hot water and the shower head let’s put DRIPS of water. It’s not enjoyable. I felt like I was in a third world country with the living conditions this host had. He had outlets that didn’t work. Plumbing issues and he allowed people inside the unit when I wasn’t there.
